This Sweet Chili Shrimps recipe is so easy to prepare especially when you are in a hurry and need to whip up food fast for family or friends.

Here is the recipe:


1/2 kilo medium to large Shrimps, cleaned
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 Tbsp butter
5 Tbsp sweet chili sauce ( I used UFC Sweet Chili Sauce)
2 Tbsp ketchup
Tabasco or any chili sauce
Spring onions for garnish, minced (optional)


In a pan, put the canola oil and butter, saute the garlic.
When garlic is fragrant and a bit toasted but not brown, add the shrimps; season with salt. Let shrimp cook until it turns orange, do not over cook the shrimps.
Combine the sweet chili sauce, ketchup and chili sauce (according to how spicy you want the sauce to be) in a bowl, blend well.
Add the sweet-chili sauce mixture to the cooked shrimps, mix until shrimps have blended with the sauce.
Let cook for a minute or two. Turn off heat. Put the Sweet chili shrimps in a serving dish. Sprinkle minced spring onions to garnish.
